This NAIDOC Week, we are celebrating women. The theme, ‘Because of Her, We Can’, is an opportunity to recognise the incredible Indigenous women that contribute to our communities in so many important ways.

Here at Mirima Dawang Woorlab-gerring, we are honoured to have a team of strong women that are teaching language, writing, illustrating and publishing bilingual books, as well as leading the next generation to be connected to and proud of their precious Miriwoong heritage.
