Miriwoong-Ainu Language and Culture Exchange Program
Thanks to the support of the Australia-Japan Foundation, which is part of the Australian Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade, we are rolling out an exciting new initiative – an exchange project between the Miriwoong people and the Ainu community in Northern Japan.
Aboriginal Languages Western Australia (ALWA)
MDWg is one of the founding members of Western Australia’s language centre network Aboriginal Languages WA (ALWA). Incorporated in 2026, ALWA is working with the Western Australian Government on a variety of strategies to support the Aboriginal languages in our State.
