GENKALENG

The genkaleng season is the when the south winds start to blow. This marks the beginning of the cold weather.

Miriwoong people use these words to describe the weather at this time of the year;

Dengga – This is when the rain starts to clear, the sky opens and clear days without many clouds prevail.
